dragging out of bed
into the living room,
watching snow flakes
slowly whipping,
slowly whirling,
blown here
blown there,
finally coming to rest,
in a white bed,
looking so warm,
looking so cozy,
leading me back to my own bed
to sleep away the day,
warm and cozy inside.

the sieve and the sand 
this reminds me of college just for the snow.
i miss snow.
man i miss snow.
and sleeping in through the day just to watch it all pass.
it gets way too butt-cold here for it to not snow.
Seriously! What’s the point of cold if it is not bringing snow with it? To rub it in a little, we’ve had our 2nd most snowiest winter ever here! Funny that it only takes about 16 inches to be the snowiest winter ever.
