out the clouds

count the star

and get bored

trying not to watch
the children play
and call out to their fathers
over their joy in seeing for
the first time in months

The light from the closest star we can see (besides the sun) is 4.2 light years away. We are quite literally time traveling every time we stargaze.
sadly i live in a town where we can only time travel about 3 days a year…
