It was one of my own actually. The “But I made $90” poem I wrote last week. I was teaching description and realized that I was doing what I was teaching without even thinking about it.

Sure thing Tucker. I would use our site more if I taught poetry; lately I realized that I don’t always think about the link between poetry and real writing, but the best writers are poets whether they are writing poetry or prose, so I would like to be emphasizing this more in the future. Perhaps this is the first step towards finally assigning our books as required reading, making both the world and our wallets more expressive.
