But not as bad as rover.
true dat.
WHATT???????????????????????????????????????
Rover is the tenth position, utilized by youth league baseball coaches as a way to get an uncoordinated kid on the field. If the kid can’t catch, throw, or run, you put him in rover, and he scuttles about pretending like he’s going to make a play.
it’s also used in adult slow pitch softball usually for people who aren’t very talented.
good to know, but i was inquiring about why right field is a lonely place of exile.
that’s because nothing is hardly ever hit there, so they usually place the kid that can’t play in right field.
ok, now i get it
