diamonds

diamonds are rough

poetry

oh,
man
if a diamond
rolled in here,
maaaaan
i’d just let it
roll on.
you know me
i’m bad with ’em
i don’t look
at ’em enough
and by the time i do
they’re dirty
already.
you know
i wish i could
do better
but i
let ’em roll
on to someone else,
diamonds deserve
more.
