i wish i could have been there to ask you the etymology of some ridiculous things..
If you had been, I would have gladly, nay jubilantly, have given you ridiculous etymologies of ridiculous things; I don’t know why more people don’t ask me for etymologies; they are really missing out.
you should write a book of etymologies … mmm… etymologies…
