hope springs…er, something rather

poetry

hope sometimes
pokes it head out
slow like a turtle you
knew it was there
all along it was just
a matter of time but
every now and then
hope catches you by surprise
like a kiss in the dark.

What to be when I grow up?

poetry

Today I want to be an editor
starring at a computer all the day.

Yesterday it was an advisor
pretending to be busy all the day.

Sometimes I want to be a teacher
until I start to teach all the day.

Tomorrow I want to be a writer
if I can only focus all the day.
