the sieve and the sand

Leaving the wheat with the chaff. This is not your mother’s poetry.

Nothing ventured
nothing gained
but the old truck’s
oil’s changed

though it’s been non-
stop for a month
near, straight,
so I must submit the
following observation:

Banality
is beauty
sometimes
