   i’m remembering kerouac and how much i hated his book until the last 10 pages and then i couldn’t decide if those were good enough to make up for hte rest of the book.

   lack of friends? why do we romanticize this in so many places? remember that movie into the wild? basically it made a hero out of a total idiot. people, community, essential.

   i’ve never met a jackass that was smart enough to read a book… but i’d like to … you know… if you could introduce me to said jackass..
